Aquaos drops no loot, but killing him infuses the pool on the island with mana, increasing the catch rate of Manaffogato to 100% while it is active for a short time! This state is indicated by blue mana motes rising from the surface of the water. 
Aquaos lo Scatenato scales in health and level (like all Legion mobs). Using it will summon Aquaos lo Scatenato, an Elemental that will attack you, that you must kill. Marchio di Aquaos is an item you can rarely fish up on Margoss' Retreat (roughly 1 in every 100 casts). Testing with level 100+ characters has been successful it is unknown whether even lower level characters can do so. Level 110 is NOT required to fish up Manaffogato. Manaffogato is Unique (100) - as such you want to turn-in or spend it when you reach that mark. Manaffogato can be turned in 1 at a time for 50 reputation or 10 at a time for 500 reputation. Other than Manaffogato, only trash fish are caught on this island ( Sgombro d'Argento and Grosso Pesce Rosso da Fontana). You can catch up to 2 Manaffogato per cast. Fishing skill does not appear to appreciably affect Manaffogato catch rate (see below). A Fishing skill of 1 is sufficient to catch Manaffogato. Manaffogato can ONLY be fished up from the pool on Margoss' Retreat. Conversely, any Manaffogato turned in for reputation is consumed and cannot be used to buy merchandise. Note that any Manaffogato spent on items from Evocatore Margoss will not grant any reputation. Can be used as a currency for a number of items he sells. From this ledge you can reach the island through the following means: You'll see the pet trainer on the ledge below, and in the distance you will see Margoss' Retreat, recognizable by the pool of water in the center. It is possible to get to the island using unconventional means.įirst, go through the gap in the Dalaran wall at, between the Violet Citadel and the Magus Commerce Exchange (you can see it if you follow the grass to the right of the Violet Citadel stairs). These items are consumed when used - so to use this method again you have to fish up another. 
It can be fished up in the Dalaran Underbelly from the Swirling Whorl pools around the Black Market Auction house - in the Underbelly. Once flying is unlocked in Legion, this will be an easy way to get to the island.Įmblema di Margoss is a consumable item that teleports you to Margoss' Retreat.
There are a number of ways to get to the island: Note that this small island isn't shown on the map of Dalaran - it is outside of the bounds of the in-game map (therefore coordinates are not helpful!) The island on which Evocatore Margoss can be found is just North of Dalaran. This island has a pool of water on it from which Manaffogato can be fished up.Īs a "Friend" NPC, there is an associated faction and reputation associated with Margoss - Evocatore Margoss (similar to Nat Pagle or the Tillers NPCs). TIP #2: Take advantage of reputation buffs, like WHEE!/ Cilindro di Lunacupa while the Darkmoon Faire is active, or similar buffs listed in the guide below during holidays to speed this grind up!Įvocatore Margoss is a new Fishing-related NPC located on a floating island (Margoss' Retreat) around Dalaran. TIP #1: There are groups in the group-finder that fish together on Margoss' Retreat this greatly increases the number of Marchio di Aquaos that are fished up, and with enough people you can chain them back-to-back, increasing your rate of Manaffogato acquisition dramatically!
